Celebs Speak Out on Kyrie Irving's Suspension

Last week, Nick Cannon shared what he believes is happening as suspended Brooklyn Nets player Kyrie Irving faces backlash from actions following a post of a documentary on his Twitter.

Irving only tweeted the link to a documentary entitled "Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America! Media platforms drew attention to the tweet. The NBA said the point guard’s actions were deemed as "anti-Semitic."

The Wild’N Out host says Kyrie’s conditions to play again are examples of slavery tactics or “buck breaking,” as he explains on the 2 Hate or Not 2 Hate podcast.

Kyrie has been suspended, and he has also publicly apologized for his actions. Sports Analyst Shannon Sharpe says the conditions are "a bit much" and the Nets are attempting to make an example out of Irving. But, Sharpe says Irving is wrong for offending people with Jewish beliefs.

Here are the conditions Irving must complete to come back to the team.

- apologize + condemn the film

- $500K anti-hate cause(s) donation

- Sensitivity training

- antisemitic training

- meet with Anti-Defamation League + Jewish leaders

- meet with Joe Tsai + demonstrate understanding

Irving has met with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and Brooklyn Nets govner Joe Tsai. Both say they working with Kyrie on steps to get him back with the team.

In one of his latest tweets, Irving defends himself saying his intentions are to not "participate in any religious/political wars or incite racial disharmony/prejudice."
